The Adult System of Care Committee (ASOC) works with CMHDA's governing board, regional committees, and other standing committees to identify and develop CMHDA's positions on federal, state, and local statutory and regulatory developments that directly or indirectly impact upon Adult System of Care policy development.
The ASOC Committee has several goals for 2007, including:
- Be involved and promote ASOC workshops for the California Mental Health Policy Forum
- Create a better connection to the ASOC regional committees
- Provide statewide education and advocacy on adult mental health issues
- Advance transitional adult mental health awareness with the help of the Transitional Adult Subcommittee
