The Older Adult System of Care (OASOC) Committee works with CMHDA's Governing Board, regional OASOC committees, and other standing committees to identify and develop CMHDA's positions on federal, state, and local statutory and regulatory developments that directly or indirectly impact older adults, and to provide information and assistance to local programs.

The CMHDA OASOC Committee has several goals for 2007, including:

• Work with the California Mental Health Planning Council on the results from the OASOC Survey
• Actively participate in annual OASOC MH Conference with DMH, CIMH, CAMHAOA
• Develop service continuum plan jointly with CMHDA ASOC Committee.

Provide statewide education and advocacy on older adult mental health issues
