Mission Statement
The CMHDA Legislative Committee develops a legislative and public policy agenda each year based on the fundamental goals of ensuring access to care, securing maximum funding, and promoting consumer-oriented policies that support wellness and recovery efforts. To this end, the Legislative Committee will review legislation, ballot initiatives and regulatory issues impacting the public mental health system and consumers of services, and adopt policy platforms congruent with the mission of providing the public with quality mental health services.
